A systematic review and meta-analysis (volume dated 2026; online 27 Dec 2025) of JAK inhibitor plus narrowband UV-B in adult non-segmental vitiligo (4 studies, 217 adults, of which only 1 is an RCT - this landmark - the other 3 non-randomized) found combination therapy pooled a greater total-VASI reduction (MD -4.96; 95% CI -9.29 to -0.63; p=0.02) but with very high heterogeneity (I2=85%). Its direction is qualifiedly consistent with the landmark; it is NOT an independent replication because it incorporates the landmark's own data.
