Denk D et al., Nature Aging 2025

In healthy middle-aged adults, 28 days of oral urolithin A (1,000 mg/day) vs placebo gave a small rise in naive-like CD8+ T cells and higher CD8+ fatty acid oxidation capacity. Other registered primary readouts were null: CD8+ T memory stem cells and SCENITH mitochondrial dependence. These are immune-cell surrogate markers; clinical benefit was not tested.
