Laser for Neck Trigger Points: Pain Didn't Beat Sham
In a 52-person trial against a sham (fake) laser, 8 sessions of 808-nanometre (nm) laser light didn't reduce trapezius pain more than the fake one (the main outcome); a secondary neck-disability benefit was small and fragile.
